             Soylent Brownies

Ingredients:

 1/2 cup butter or margarine
 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  2 eggs
  1 cup sugar
  1 tsp vanilla extract
 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup Soylent Brown -- chopped
 1/2 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8" square baking pan with waxed
paper and grease the paper. In a small saucepan, heat the butter until
melted. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder.

With an electric mixer, beat together the eggs, sugar and vanilla until
light. Add the cocoa mixture and stir to blend.

Sift flour over the cocoa mixture and gently fold in. Add the Soylent
Brown and raisins and scrape the batter into the pan. NOTE: do *not*
substitute Soylent Green, as its higher water content will make the
cookies soggy.

Bake for 30 minutes. Do not overbake.

Leave in the pan to cool before cutting into 2" squares. The brownies
should be soft and moist. Dust with confectioner's sugar before serving.

Serves 16.
