With its stunning special effects, awe-inspiring scenery, and
cinematic wizardry, "Lord of the Rings" had the potential of
being the best Monty Python movie of all time, if only they had
written more than one joke* into the script.

The fact that I spilled my diet Coke didn't help much either,
especially for the people sitting in front of me who found their
shoes suddenly moist and sticky. Oh well, at least the popcorn
was fresh and warm.

I give the whole experience one thumb sideways.

*Second breakfast, har de har har.
