Sunday morning at five o'clock as the day begins.
Silently closing the Deathsdoor,
Unfinished posts that he hoped would say more,
He goes downstairs past the Usenet clutching his ductape.
Quietly turning the "satellite" key,
stepping "outside" he is free.
He (He gave us most of his lives)
is leaving (Sacrificed most of his lives)
Servo (Most of us never could tell him goodbye)
He's leaving home after posting alone,
For so many years. Bye, bye
Blackhawk snores as the Cap. get into his dressing gown.
Opens the e-mail that's sitting there.
Sitting in front of the monitor he stares
And breaks down and cries to Ol'Blackhawk "Blackie, our MSTer's gone"
From so many treated so thoughtlessly.
What did this say about me?
He (He always thought of himself)
is leaving (And never a thought for himself)
Servo (He struggled hard here online to get by)
He's leaving home after posting alone,
For so many years. Bye, bye
Friday Morning at nine o'clock he is far from mods.
Waiting to keep the appointment he sought.
Meeting a man from the G. Purpose Gods.
He (What did he do that was wrong?)
is having (Never did any real harm)
Fun! (His fun was something that money can't buy)
Something inside that will oft make me cry,
For so many tears. Bye, bye
He's leaving Servo, bye, bye
